Where to start, Two FTS comfortable wins (all the West Brom doubters thanks for your mails as I say they are my bets you don’t have to do them), the three 15 min games that qualified all winning, JG two nice winners including 8/1, Dutch and Win a couple of Winners, Race Winning Tips a 14/1 (18.0 on Betfair) winner and the throw in a Paul Scholes 93rd minute goal and Tottenham comprehensively out playing Chelsea and I have not had many better Saturdays! Won a right good few quid and had a great day at the football. The Trial Lays this week have been awesome for those of you with those and those who follow what I do here and take a long term view should be doing well if your not then we need to look at your betting as this week has seen huge huge profits with JG being on fire and everything else performing very nicely. I am taking a day off today, last day of the boys school holiday so we are going to go out for the day. There is at least one football game so I will send any football this morning.
What a difference a day makes, what a goal, what an atmosphere, what a result a lovely Arsenal cuffing to cheer you up is always welcome. Sets up a great weekend now with Spurs home to Chelsea and City playing Man Utd. Arsenal ending another season trophyless is always welcome sorry gooners but pretty football does not win trophies!!! A nice 6/1 winner from JG yesterday, no football today. I am out all day today so will not be doing anything betting wise, i have turned my laptop on to about 340 emails (probably most of them gooner abuse) so will wade through the email tomorrow afternoon, so if you are waiting please be patient.

No footy today. Not a bad weekend for the football, Inter with the two redcards was the only major blip. That was always going to be tough when it went down to 10 men let alone 9. Having checked this season and getting done by Rangers twice with red cards I have made a decision for those with FTS that pay any attention to what I do, in future if the match is drawing and there is a red card I will be out of it. It would have made a good weekend a great one but hey ho. Two more System 3 wins which I am over the moon about still just the one loss all season which is an incredible record even if i say so myself. That system is no longer for sale I am afraid as it is market sensitive and with the success this season the people who have it are using it so it is unlikely I will re-introduce it at any time. Jg back at the weekend with a 20/1 place (I got 18′s) and then the racing is decimated again by the weather. Mark Smith tipped up the 3-1 Everton- Man Utd score at 60 on Saturday. I have been snowed under with email requests and product reviews. I will be changing the way I do things and will post further details of this at the end of March. This week I will resume posting results and reviews of systems as I am aware some of you do pay heed to them so it is worthwhile. I will always aim to get you away from the scams and we do have a couple on the way yet again. I will be updating the Guide to Buying Gambling Systems weekend which if you have not got it is available above this post.
Must just mention the Spurs, recorded the game and watched it late last night. A decision that went our way at last with the Defoe goal, swings and roundabouts. I think the 4th spot is genuinely between Spurs and Liverpool but there will be twists and turns to come, must check the next Man City manager market!!!! For those in the Elite and Mentor group I hope you are paying attention to our ante post season action from August last year as it looks like I could be in for a fair few quid.
Another disappointing day at the Lane as we failed to break Hull down and there keeper made some blinding saves. Keeper apart we just do not have the players to break quickly when Lennon is injured. Huddlestone just does not move forward slows everything down and they have time to get 10 men in the box. You havw to play football through these teams at pace not just hoof it up to Crouch when he comes on. He only wins about 25% of the headers and when he does only about 5% of those fall to one of our players. The better teams play football against these teams and blow them away. Fortunately Everton done us a favour but one point at home from games against Stoke, Hull and Wolves is not the stuff of a top 4 side. So we regained 4th place not quite as I envisaged, what odds Liverpool hit form on Wednesday when they play us!!

I do like the chants that football fans come up with and last night at the lane the above chant from the Spurs fans to the City fans did make me laugh! The result left me confident, that firstly Spurs have some bounce back in them, I thought the Wolves result may see us capitulate but secondly that my ante post football season bets against Man City were correctly placed as they are nowhere near a top 4 side and it is not just last nights result, 1 win in 10 for City is just not good form and they look as I expected a disjointed side. It as been a strange first half to the Premier league and I for once agree with Arsene Wenger (I can’t believe I am saying that) that the Prmiership will be won with the lowest points total, I stil feel Chelsea will take the title with Man Utd second and Arsenal third but 4th spot is wide open and Spurs have as good a chance as Liverpool or Villa in claiming it.

The Spurs train is running aground again to bring the usual bout of anxiety in a season. I missed the 9-1 win which when I heard it I hoped would be a launch pad to push on for the season but then we follow that up by allegedly dominating Villa and coming away with a draw, going 2-0 up at Everton only to throw it away and miss an injury time penalty for the 3 points, and then an inexcusable (sorry Wolves fans) loss at home on Saturday to Wolves the frailties are once again exposed. No points from Wolves or Stoke at home is not the measure of a top 4 side. Crashed out of the Carling Cup also and it starts to unravel. A huge game beckons now on Wednesday against Man City – I predicted to my fellow Spurs supporter friend that we will win by 2 clear goals before the Wolves debacle- the season could hinge on Wednesdays game! Come on You Spurs – Shape UP!!!!!

I can hear the crys at the Lane on Saturday even not being there, “Thats Why We Sold You!” I picked a nice £100 quid up like picking money off the floor when I bet two of my sceptical Spurs supporting friends £50 each that Darren Bent wouldn’t score on Saturday on his return to the Spurs and to have him miss a penalty just makes it all sweeter. A good win and with Modric and Lennon to come back still I can see us staying right in the hunt. Chelsea winning yesterday good news for the Ante Post bets I placed before the season and whilst a long way to go I thought they would win the league and cannot see them giving up a 5 point gap with the others looking so inconsistent.

Well a sound beating to add to those from Chelsea and Man Utd shows how much we still have to improve, Defoe, Lennon and Modric massive absentees for us and Huddlestone just not good enough, yes he can hit a 30yd pass and strike a ball but as an all round player he is just not up to the pace and level of premiership football. Poor game for Ledley I understand, sure it was just a blip. Massive game against Sunderland next week I will have to make my reappearance at the Lane to sort things out!!

We moved into the last 8 of the Carling Cup very comfortably it seems and a step closer to a third consecutive Wembley Final, thought some big teams left and I think it is being taken a bit more serious this year by some of the bigger teams
so won’t get ahead of the game just yet. Apparently Talksports Mike Parry may be worth listening to at about 10am as he was there and was getting some stick as an Everton fan to the point he git his belly out at one stage to shouts of “Who ate all the pies” and Robbie Keanes penalty I am told was one of the worst ever. A win is a win!
