Cheltenham 2021 Day Four – Ian Bets

19/03/2021

As always each year I post my Cheltenham Bets which you are free to follow at your own peril. It is one of my favourite sporting events of the year, I absolutely love the week and cannot wait for it to start.

We have had some nice winners over the years and also some beatings it is one of those kind of meetings. I get good info, often too much of it and often discard the wrong ones and it is hard to win. I am happy to throw a couple of K at the meeting each year for the excitement, obviously hoping I turn a profit. Most of the info is rom people I know in the game so i repeat up to you if you follow this.

I will post all my selections here and the results at then update results through the week. Hopefully get some ammo early to fire back at the rest of the week.

Day 4 – All Exchange Prices  I took at Time Using Betdaq as Zero Comm – Only I don’t have betting accounts

As I state follow at your own peril, my money is on could be a day for Favs today some horrible small fields.

Forward – +£715

Zanahiyr is the bet I see this between the top 2 in the betting and whilst Rachael is flying think she gets turned over in this one. Had reasonable word a while back for Zanahiyr

Current favourite Ganapathi will run well and is first on the list, trends back this up. Fifty Ball is too big at the prices and sticking with MP Walsh and Jp who I have been involve dwitha few I like the look of Cayd Boy at a good price.

Ganaptahi £50 Win 7.5 – £40 Place 2.5  -£90
Fifty Ball £30 Win 17- £40 Place 4.3 -£70
Cayd Boy £25 Win 28 – £20 Place 7 -£45

Running +£460

A tough race but three I like here and was nice to see two of those backed up by our very own Trends PDF today. Barbados Bucks had good word for, Torygraph and Stattler had word for and backed up today.

Barbados Buck’s £50 Win 11.5 – £50 Place 3.7 -£100
Torygraph £40 Win 10.5 – £30 Place 3.3 -£70
Stattler £35 Win 5.8 -£35

Running +£255

The Gold Cup and Al Boum Photo going for a hat-trick. Will be some win but I think it will be foiled. Rachael having just won the first will maybe get this also, A Plus Tard a great chance difficult to see him out of it. Minella Indo back at a course he loves will surely also go well. Champ no chance, Frodon a fairytale that wont come to pass. Royal Pagaille a slim chance but I have to also back Santini, loves it here and hopefully the visor keeps him on the ball.

A Plus Tard £100 Win 4.8 -£100
Minella Indo £40 Win 10- £40 Place 3.4 +£456
Santini £30 Win 16.5-  £30 Place 3.8 -£60

Running +£551

Salvatore £20 Win 46 – £20 Place 10 -£40

Running +£411

On the Allaho form Elimay must surely have a great favs chance here but at 5/4 not one for me may well win but any value gone. Some smaller EW hopes here for a couple I have had word for. Cabaret Queen and Magic of Light

Cabaret Queen £25 Win 25 – £20 Place 4.2 -£45
Magic of Light £20 Win 19 – £20 Place 3.5 -£45

Running +£321

The old fill the wheelbarrow or  get out of jail stakes. Gentleman De Mee a fair chance and a saver, Gabynako must be in list with form through Bob Olinger and Galopin Des Champs improved behind Appreciate it can run a big race. Leoncavallo for a big price trend to finish things off.

Gabynako £60 Win 6.6 -£60
Galopin Des Champs £50 Win 11 – £40 Place 2.8 +£572
Leoncavallo £25 Win 32 – £20 Place 6 -£45
