Another tough festival out of the way and once again I managed to scrape a profit. To be honest it felt like a losing week as I had so many horses look like doing better only to get done on the long run in, but that is racing.
So for the 3 days I ended up on my bets on +£478.75 so I I hope some of you may at least have followed. It is key to get the best EW terms at these meetings, I actually thought I had lost ion the big race but backing 6 places with Victor saw me profit on the race. Some bookmakers were only paying 4 places which is a joke.
Day 1 +£320
Day 2 -£45
Day 3 +£203.75
So on top of Cheltenham we have a nice profit for the big meetings with the jumps now coming to a close. I do like watching and punting at these meetings
Despite the what seems like never ending abuse we do try and give you wining advice here and be it football betting or horse race betting it is not always easy.
I get information from everywhere particularly for the big meetings and it is difficult narrowing your picks. I did point you in the way of Festival Racing Specialists for both Cheltenham and Aintree and they cleaned up over 30 points at Aintree to take the profit for the 2 meetings to over 40 points. I wish I had followed all their bets myself, I use them as a guide. Unlike all the marketers and bookmaker affiliate brigade out there these guys are part time punters who can read form and focus on big races when all the horse are trying. For small money all I can do is point you there. They won’t be around now until the summer.
Will Lattimore who is our own in house expert again pulled out winners including a nice 16/1 shot in the last which I again ignored, really annoying as FRS had it also so I should have been on it – Muppet. Will is flying this year, and I mean flying and if you have any sort of mindset to understand horse racing you should be following his advice.
As I say all i can do is point you to winning info and if you understand the ups and downs you will win.
