Many of you have noticed all of the different changes we have been making at FTS recently following the survey we ran earlier this year. The next part of this for us has been a complete revamp of the events that we run such as seminars, Masterclasses and One-to-Ones.
FTS has come a long way since 2012 when Ian first ran the seminars around the country. We have more members and, more importantly, we now have a better understanding of our members. One of the main things that was apparent from the survey was that we have members at different stages of their journey all around the country.
Up until now the seminars and masterclasses have been aimed at beginners, with an emphasis on teaching people the basics such as the mindset and discipline needed to succeed. But we also know that there are some who are now already beyond this level and need to start pushing themselves and their betting to start doing things professionally. They are ready to bet bigger and win bigger.
The way you should view your betting is like any other business. Like any business, over time, you need to improve your skills and go for higher levels of learning and education. So with this mind, we now have a clear journey for FTS members to follow:
LEVEL 1 – FTS Seminars (for beginners)
The FTS seminars have been great at teaching people the basics and we will continue to run these. They will be aimed at those who are fairly new to betting or have never attended a seminar in the past. Even if you have been betting for a while it will be beneficial for you to attend a seminar first before going on to the next level.
They will cover aspect such as:
- Mindset
- Coping with losing runs
- Record keeping
- How to stake properly
- Setting a bank
- Discipline
- What are the FTS Odds Sheets and how to use them
- Starter betting systems
- Introduction into horse racing betting and mentality
The next set of dates for seminars will by Summer 2017. More information will be released in the new year.
LEVEL 2 – FTS Football Clinics (for intermediate to advanced bettors)
For those who are at an intermediate level with a minimum of £2,000 betting bank not tied up in anything else, the next step after the FTS seminars is to attend one of our clinics. These are ideal for anyone who has attended a seminar or already has a good understanding of the basics, including the mindset and discipline needed to succeed.
Held in a small group of a maximum of 5, the purpose of these clinics is to really evaluate the attendees on a personal level and set up an individual plan for them to move forward. We will set out exactly what they need to do daily and help them manage their banks, stakes and betting portfolio until they are confident in doing it themselves.
We will also demonstrate what we do every day for our own personal betting by showing people LIVE on the day the processes we go through. There will also be a chance to see us look for opportunities for potential bets and actually see us betting them LIVE!

LEVEL 3 – FTS One-to-One (for advanced gamblers)
The FTS One-to-One set up is the final piece of the jigsaw for anyone on the brink of pushing themselves onto a professional level. We will come to visit you at your house (if you are happy for us to do so) and we will spend the day setting up everything you need to replicate what we do. We will be analysing everything you currently bet under the microscope, any of your own systems, look at your records and fill in any gaps. If we have to create a new system just for you to fill in a gap, then we will.
We will also share every single bet we put on ourselves with you. You will basically copy exactly what we bet daily! If we win, you win!
However, these one-to-ones are available strictly by application. We need to assess you to see if you are ready and have the funds and mentality to bet at the level we do. It will be high volume with enormous liabilities every day so not everyone will be ready for it.
What you need:
- To have attended an FTS Clinic (or seminar/Masterclass prior to 2017)
- Must have been an FTS member for at least 3 years
- Impeccable record keeping
- Some of your own systems that you are actively betting
- Able to cope with loses and losing runs (you’ll be winning big and losing big)
- Minimum of £15,000 to cover fees and betting bank (this is not money you are relying on)
We are not currently open for one-to-one applications, but these will re-start in 2017. More information will follow then.

We feel that this new setup will make it easier for people to advance their learning and their betting with a clear direction going forward. You have all heard us talk about this process being a minimum of 3-5 years and your learning should be the same.
