I’m getting seriously hacked off with Betfair, it just doesn’t work too often, I’m often on the move so have to use my mobile apps for trading, not Ideal I know but it is what it is for now.

I’m looking for recommendations for other exchanges, my research leads me to Smarkets and Matchbook

Your thoughts?

I have used Matchbook for a year and a half for a few of my systems that are set and forget. It’s fine for the biggest leagues, but for smaller leagues liquidity can be a problem. For in-play trading liquidity is pants. Stopped using it during the autumn though as they increased the commission for non UK residents at the same time as Betfair changed theirs to 2%.

Try using the the normal webpage betfair site from a Mobile rather than the app itself  see if any better/ worse for you. Use a  6 inch or greater screen phablet type device. Try using Chrome or chrome beta as the web browser.

Smarkets is fine for pre match stuff and matched betting but not to be touched really for in play stuff where you want any liquidity. It isn’t really a true exchange in the sense they provide alot of the liq themselves mirroring BF.

I’m surprised you’ve mentioned Matchbook before BetDAQ?

I have issues with BF but nothing sufficient to make me look elsewhere.

I opened a matchbook account, in the markets I want to trade there is virtually no liquidity, removed my money and won’t use until I move into markets they service.
