I’ve only just started playing with BF Bot Manager so I’m no expert, but I think the only way around that is to run two separate instances of the BF Bot Manager executable for the two different bots.

From what I understand, the license allows you to install it on up to two different machines, so if you’ve got two bots that use your manual selections on the same markets you could run one on one machine and one on the other one.  I’m planning on having one instance of BF Bot Manager installed on my laptop and one on a virtual machine on my server for that purpose.

You’d have thought there would be a better way to do it though.  Maybe there is and we just haven’t found it yet.

Ah I see that would probably be quite useful then, plenty of laptops lying around here! I’ll get one set up with the Bot. Cheers!

Hi Phil,

Sorry to hijack the conversation but that sheet would be a big help to me if you wouldn’t mind sharing?  I spend a lot of time on Saturday and Sunday morning manually adding my games haha!

Yeah sure, DM me your email address and I’ll send it over. It requires a small amount of set up but happy to help with that.

I’m struggling with this bot I must admit the instructions might as well be written in Chinese.

I’m trying to manually select games to place a lay of the current score on 80 mins. I can find the games via the Tree Navigation but from there I can only load the market and can’t work out how to add rules?

Any help appreciated.

I agree it all looks really complicated when first looking at it but once you’re used to it it is really good.

Rules are created for each strategy on the ‘Bots/Strategies’ tab, it is here you create the rules around which market from your grid that you bet on, and rules on which selection from that market you bet on.

Market rules can be created based on Competition e.g. Premier League only and/or by market name e.g. ‘MATCH_ODDS’

There are a couple of ways to tell a strategy to bet on a particular selection.

1. On the markets tab select the ‘+’ symbol next to the relevant market and you’ll see a column called ‘My Selections’. Check the required selection. Then in the ‘Bots/Strategies’ tab in your strategy settings create a rule ‘Selection Conditions’ rule and ‘Selections Filer (Multi)’. In the form that opens up there is an option at the bottom that says ‘Allow betting only on selections from “My Selections” column’.

That would work fine for one strategy or multiple that are using different markets.

2. The second option that I use is by using the ‘Tips’ functionality. Tips (or selections) are loaded via a csv with a Tipster name. I use a name for each of my systems e.g. FHG for first half goal. When importing tips the markets for them are automatically loaded too. Then you set your strategy to only bet on tips from ‘FHG’ or whatever your system is called, using the same form as above.

Depending on whether you are loading selctions pre-match or loading in game when opportunities arise would dictate how I would configure the bot using one of these two options.

You can also stop all bots from monitoring (and therefore betting) on any market by un-checking the check box next to it int he markets grid.

For laying the current score in the correct score market I think the only way to do it would be to have a bot per score. e.g. One that lays when current score is 0-0. One that lays if score is 1-0 etc.

You can program each bot NOT to bet if the other ones already have a bet placed so there would be no duplication. You can have all of these running on the same PC, no need for multiple instances.

Happy to help configure more specifically fir your rules if you want.

Phil.

I thought there’d be a better way than having multiple instances. Thanks Phil, that’s very helpful.

Simon I sent you a message not sure if you’ve seen it? I did need some help in the end configuring the bot. Harder than I thought!

Hey bud,

Have replied back to you……took a few days off.

Hi Phil, I tried this just now (for 0-1/0-2 HT Lays) and the bot immediately placed a bet on a game that was 0-1 at HT despite the “Allow betting only on selections from “My Selections” column being ticked and the game clearly not having been ticked with the column in question being blank.

Is this a (major) bug or any ideas? I’ve asked Rade also.

Hi Dio,

Without seeing the strategy rules it’d be hard to say what the issue is. I’m presuming you had the explicit market & selection only ticked. e.g. The ‘CORRECT_SCORE’ market and the only selection ticked would be ‘0-1’ or ‘0-2’, and not the MATCH_ODDS market?

Rade is usually very quick at replying and very helpful but if you want me to take a further look you could send over the strategy and screenshots if you have them and I’ll try and help. You should have my email as I sent you over the file you asked for.

Also, always test in ‘Simulation’ mode until you’re happy it’s working.

Hi mate, yes eventually we determined it was because I had a default stake setting which meant it was applying to all markets or something similar!

I’ve got 13 strategies set up now so been a busy week, only 1 left that cannot quite fire correctly but will keep testing after todays tweeks.

Have just found the email thank you, it went to Spam! Will have a play, thanks again.
