This is probably an easy thing to do but sadly beyond me. I would like to add a ‘clear’ macro button to my ELO database. I have managed to create a couple of macros and buttons but when I have finished with the info I have to clear each individual dropdown used in that macro in order to move to the next macro. A clear button would be very useful.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me out?

I may have misunderstood but don’t you just record a macro that selects “data, clear”?

Not so simple for me. The master ELO sheets has a tonne of macros which are removed for the version that gets published. I tried not deleting the clear button but for some reason this corrupts the master sheet. Trying to look at fixibg that

A temporary solution is to click on the sort and filter tab and then click on clear in that

Thank you Presston.  That is the tab found in the DATA set – it works!

Paul

If you are using the main sheet from the download ie the excel worksheet called ‘Ian FTS Master Odds Sheet’

create a macro and use this code in visual basic

Sheets(“Ian FTS Master Odds Sheet”).Select
If ActiveSheet.FilterMode Then
ActiveSheet.ShowAllData
End If
Sheets(“Ian FTS Master Odds Sheet”).Select Range(“G4”).Select

End Sub

That should reset all the filters and put the worksheet back into cell G4.

I dont use ELO database myself at the moment but that should work, come back to me if it doesnt
