I don’t suppose anyone has collated the episode’s where Ian has been at his best? As in explaining elements of betting / trading or psychology. As if you were going to give a new starter a crash course?

I second this, if anyone out there is aware of any episodes that might be informative, I’d love a listen KissWink

Sounds good.

I like to keep records of recordings that help whenever I might need it. Normally when in the midst of a downswing! I think it’s also nice for people to have an entry curriculum. Diving straight into the pods could without intent lead many to ruin.

I’m sure that these will be made available in a more structured  format eventually. I am in the process of listening to a year’s worth of podcasts in an attempt to get the bets and the results recorded. On my way I have found some of the informative podcasts. I am working my way backwards, at 21st October at the moment heading towards Jan 2019 so a long way to go. I’ll add more links when I find them!

22 Oct: Handling a “torrid time” from start.

23 Oct: More on losses at 6 minutes for 11 minutes

25 Oct: Follow the game plan at 11 minute 15 seconds.

02 Jan 20: Repeat, repeat, repeat makes new routines from start.

Not really advice on best practice, but interesting nonetheless, 10th September 2019 and 11th September 2019 have thoughts regarding second-half goals and the betting on same.

30 Sept 19 – Do the same thing from 02:00

07 Jan 20 – Start Today, get rid of the dross from 11:00

09 Jan 20 – Changes from 03:50

It’s all higgledy piggledy at the moment. Once this process is complete I get this in to chronological order.

Hi Art

I was literally just composing a list of the books and was going to post it……then seen you had already done it!

My recommendation for what its worth is “The Chimp Paradox” by Dr Steve Peters.

Been around a while but a good read.

March 29th Book Of The Day

The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F##k by Mark Manson

The book is a reaction to the self-help industry and what Manson saw as a culture of mindless positivity that isn’t practical or helpful for most people. Manson uses many of his own personal experiences to illustrate how life’s struggles often give it more meaning, which, he argues, is a better approach than constantly trying to be happy. Manson’s approach and writing style have been categorized by some as contrarian to the general self-help industry, using blunt honesty and profanity to illustrate his ideas.
The book has 9 chapters with the following titles:
1. Don’t Try.
2. Happiness is a problem.
3. You are not special.
4. The value of suffering.
5. You are always choosing.
6. You are wrong about everything (But so am I).
7. Failure is the way forward.
8. The importance of saying no.
9. And then you die.
