So, I have developed close to 15 systems that average around 10-20 bets a season (vast majority of LTD). My systems threw up no matches for the first weekend (appreciate not all leagues up and running). A few years ago I would have panicked as my first thought was I need to place a bet, and most likely would have forced a bet just because I couldn’t resist.
However, I have developed these systems with certain criteria and if they are not met then its no bet. Obviously, if these systems didn’t produce selections by Xmas then clearly there’s problems but already this disciplined start is encouraging and a total change of mindset for me.

Wow, close to 15 systems. Thats a lot.
I started my first season with FTS with only one system and HT CS Lay. It was a system from the Main Leagues.
Second season I had 4 systems plus HT CS Lay. This was 2 systems from the Main Leagues and 2 system from the Alternative Leagues (or new leagues as they where called back then).
This is going to be my third season. I have 10 systems – with different bets (LTD; Lay Away, Back home, etc.) and it feels like a lot. I still only focus on Main and Alternative leagues. No ELO or Poisson so far.
A lot of systems – at least mine – have a filter “no grey” in it. This means, that they start producing bets after a few games have been played. If you have a filter like that in a system it is very logical to get nothing at the start.
What you can do is run one or two systems selecting by hand and see if your Powerbuilder or Makro set up is correct. I always do that at the beginning of a season to make sure I have no mistake in my makros, or Powerbuilder this season.
