Looking at some Home Win ELO angles and I recall Ian doing a video or a Zoom last year (memory is awful!) however I can't seem to find it for a re watch. I'd be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for looking

Joe

I'm curious to hear if anyone has been using the "Goal and Goal Times" sheet Ian has shared recently? if so, have you found it useful in terms of trading or more as an interesting insights piece of data? I think I heard Ian say that he doesn't use it all too much, more of a reference tool ?

I've been doing it for this season and so far the results are great for main leagues, but I'm seeing more volatile prices in the alternate leagues. I've set up Bet Angel to cancel lay bets above 7.0 and so am missing some points (other points have been missed because my set up was messy and disorganised - now fixed). Orange lines are actual P/L, blue lines are BF8 with 5% commission:

it really depends on you and how you want to operate, you could have some strats that are outright bets and some strats that are traded, i wouldn't mix the two though on the same strat if it was me though.

I'm curious what people's thoughts are regarding "cash out" or just removing liability to leave a free trade. I find myself sometimes doing a mix of both across a weekend's trading. I was wondering if anyone had done any analysis or kept any records on this. I'm guess the trade-offs are frequent smaller wins vs fewer but perhaps bigger wins (from simply removing liability).

Cheers

Can personally recommend the High Protein ebooks from Scott Baptie, I purchased his ebooks in September and lost over 2 stone by December. Very, Very easy to follow and very family orientated recipies - the wife and kids ate the same meals as me for Dinner so made the whole process much easier. Had a break over Christmas, have put a bit on ( 4lbs )  but am back on the 30 day program again.

I think that's the key really, lower calorie meals dont have to be salad and brown rice and salmon fillets etc. It seems to be a female rationale that to lose weight you have to eat unusual and torturous meals, you really don't. You just eat smaller portions and slightly lower calorie versions of what you might normally eat and as you say the whole family can eat it because it's not "diet food". Your 4lbs will very likely just be water and glycogen mostly, very hard to gain that much fat, even over a month! Good work though.

I think the 4lb is probably mince pies!!

It'll never be that easy. Your cumulative results show you how your system/strategy is working, rarely can you cherry pick and choose successfully unless they've never been a performing league for you?

Ok, thanks for help with this guys. Next question......

Looking at my alternate systems, there's three leagues in each system.

In system one, the leagues are tracking as follows:

Championship + 9pts

Netherlands - 3.9pts

Portugal -3.9pts

Total +1.2pts

and System 2:

Turkey +12.46pts

Germany -8pts

France - 25pts

Total -21pts

Would you consider removing the underperforming leagues or would you persist and continue on with what you'd started with? France seems like the obvious choice to take out?

Personally I would leave them as they are, France is defiantly under performing at the moment but again they are yet half way through the season, I have a LTD and a Lay Away system in France and the Lay Away is performing badly at the moment but I am going to ride it out until the end of the season, its all down to personal choice at the end of the day
