Hi Guys

Is anyone having any issues exporting their selections in Powerbuilder?? It’s been ok up til now on the Alternate leagues, but this week, I hit the export tit as usual, and everything was ok. My Turkey, Portugal and France system selections transferred. Then I tried my Bundesliga 2 system.. That selection, didn’t actually export, but suddenly in my Selections Tab there were double ups in the two French selections. Difficult to explain, but in the “Name” column, one was as it should be, ie “French LTD and HB”, and the other line name was “Bundes 2 LTA”, which was obviously the name of the German system, but had the French games instead..!! No German selection appeared..!!

Powerbuilder is obviously still finding selections, but it’s going Pete Tong when exporting..

Any ideas??

hey moosey,

I had this exact same problem today – same game being selected twice when loading systems one one of my PB sheets. I figured that I must have pasted in the fixtures incorrectly and I still think that might have been the case. I solved it by going back to last week’s sheet and just recopying. This time the fixtures loaded correctly.

I use a backup service for my computer whereby I can go back to previous versions of documents. As I find it remarkably easy to mess up an excel spreadsheet I find this safety-net to be reassuring. It’s pretty easy to make some kind of error and then unwittingly save the sheet (with hidden errors). Perhaps best practice is to have a methodology which allows you to return to previous versions.

Sorry not to be of more help!

Hi Nacho

Thanks for the info.. I re built my sheet, as you had done and suggested, have you had any issues since, as my copy seems to be playing up again and I can’t find a master copy of PB.. I have master copies of the rest though.

Had same issues with duplicating games.

I got around it by loading the system and saving it again as a new system. Then worked and stopped pulling same games through

however this weekend had an issue with it putting wrong bets in. (LTD going on as a Bh/LA)

I’ve seen this, it’s a botch job but if you go up that column to where the formula shows the same row as the column you are on and copy that cell down it should fix that issue.
