Cheers Ian, that was a fantastic tutorial and greatly increases my understanding of trading.
Once again thanks’ for all your efforts.
Ian,
Great video, however if you download both stats tables and do the conversions, then highlight all of the data in the Goal lines 0.5-1.5 ( inc headers from cell A1 ) then copy, go to Goal times 1st half stats miss a column at the end of the data, click cell T1 and paste, then all the Goal lines data 0.5-1.5 will be transferred onto one sheet. You then can add filter to the headers and filter accordingly. This will eliminate the need to split screen and manually select the teams as all info is on one sheet. Just a tip, i do it this way and saves a lot of time team selecting manually especially on a busy day of games. Hope this helps the community and yourself.
Like the look of this system. On first viewing it seems a bit awkward Excel-wise but having watched the video now four or five times it all becomes clearer and straightforward – which just shows that learning anything worthwhile is all about perseverance and committing time to fully understanding it.
Feel I’m really starting to see what it is that Ian is trying to get us to take ownership of with the various aspects of FTS and I’m really looking forward to attending one of the forthcoming clinics and getting an insight into even more.
Excellent video Ian, however i’m struggling to get my head around a method which i have heard being used a few times revolving around the statolite systems. Its the win 1-2 points or lose 3-4 points and stop theory. I fully agree and actually operate with the fact that after winning a point or two you should stop as your profit is made and you can get on with the rest of your day but if i had for example – 6 selections for the day and the first three lost (at odds of around evens purely for an example) why would i then stop? The selection process being purely number based is giving you the strongest games based on the criteria, it doesn’t recognize when your having a bad day. There is every chance the back three of the six selections will all be winners allowing you to break even or profit marginally, that may turn out to be the case week in week out. Also if those 6 games were scheduled over 2 days (3 on each) or those back three were rescheduled for the next day you would in theory play them leaving you with the same results overall. Am i missing something regarding this method or is it purely to help your psychological approach to protecting your bank??
Ian, I would never pick 6 games to trade and these systems over the season on a typical weekend over so many leagues will throw up a lot more than 3 or 6 selections a day. If I had 3 losers I would stop as I would rather go to bed with 3 losers than 6 losers and my head scrambled and a month of profits wiped out so yes it is about controlling mindset and having a consistent method of picking your trade. If users wish to trade every game then I stand by long term it will win but it will be brain damage, there will be 20,30,40 point swings, horrendous days which when people are behind they then lose rational and make additional trades just to try and recuperate something. My personal approach is to win a few points per system per month with low risk, managing losses and always being cautious and approaching another day. I have sen too many emails of people who have 20 good days then wipe the lot out and go nowhere. If my selections method could guarantee only throwing up 3 games a day or 5 games a day i would play them all but froma list of 76 games, narrowed down to 10 I still do not any longer wish to sit at a computer all day, if I target leagues, C1-45% and pick my spots I can manage my position and time much easier. Just my approach, people ate free to act as they wish but stats betting can be brain damage I assure you and very boring, you could pick 12 games sit there all day for 10 hours watching futbo24 and Betfair and every goal is scored just before 2.2 is reached in this method and you feel you are wasting your time.
