Though in all leagues on fdd, before start of this season that approach, match odds home team 1.5-1.8, over 2.5 greater than 2 and backing overs lost 53pts, this season that won 20 pts.
One thing I have noticed over the yrs in football though is any decent trend that takes place in the space of a season tends to carry on all the way through that season, e.g. this season strong away lay draw massively underperforming- that carries through the whole season. Home shorties perform well, that carries through, etc Laying draw in portugal and championship carrying through well this season,.. Juve and Real Madrid tending to win or lose at home at short odds this season, few draws- that trend carries on whole of this season. Same as in 2018/19, Real Madrid losing many games at home at short odds and hardly drawing at home at short odds that season, that trend carried through whole of that season. Is very interesting.
Is this the reason why you are looking specifically at trends for this season on an isolated basis as it is different to other seasons? Or do you normally look at trends that take place during a specific season to inform areas to get involved from the midpoint of that season
